About Us
After years working within a captive insurance model, Jeff Fasbender founded TrueNorth Risk Solutions to better serve his clients. As an independent broker, he now has access to dozens—often hundreds—of insurance companies, allowing him to shop the market and find coverage that truly fits each client’s needs. Jeff is especially experienced in commercial insurance and is well known for successfully placing difficult or unusual risks, taking the extra time to solve problems others may walk away from.
Who we are
Jeff and his wife Jill Fasbender, his business partner, have been married for nearly 26 years and are the proud parents of their daughter Samantha, who is 10. Giving back is an important part of their family’s values. Jeff is heavily involved with Operation BBQ Relief, a nonprofit that provides hot meals to communities affected by disasters. He has been deployed to numerous locations across the country and currently serves as the Area Coordinator for Minnesota. Locally, Jeff also volunteers his barbecue talents in support of the Lions Club, area fire departments, law enforcement, and other charitable events.
In the winter months, Jeff and his family can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on Samantha, a talented young player. When he’s not working or volunteering, Jeff enjoys cooking, ice fishing, and traveling.
Through TrueNorth Risk Solutions, Jeff’s goal is simple: to be a trusted, honest advisor who shows up for his clients and his community—helping protect what they’ve worked so hard to build.
